Program Description

AJ Long Electric (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an SMS text-messaging program called AJ Long Electric Service & Appointment Notifications. The program is used solely to send transactional service messages to customers and prospective customers who have provided their mobile phone number to us. We do not use SMS for marketing or promotional content.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. A typical service request results in 1–5 messages (intake confirmation, appointment confirmation, arrival heads-up, follow-up). You will not receive recurring marketing or bulk-promotional SMS from this program.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier’s plan. AJ Long Electric is not responsible for any charges your wireless carrier may bill you in connection with sending or receiving messages from this program.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can cancel SMS messages from this program at any time by replying STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send a single final SMS confirming that you have opted out, and you will not receive any further SMS messages from this program.

If you wish to resume receiving messages, you can opt back in by submitting a new lead/contact form on our website or by calling us and asking us to re-enable SMS for your number.

How to Get Help (HELP)

Privacy & Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

The only third parties that receive your phone number are our service providers who help us deliver these messages and run our scheduling operation, specifically:

Supported Carriers

Supported U.S. carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and most regional and MVNO carriers operating on those networks.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service is provided on an as-available basis and may be interrupted, delayed, or unavailable from time to time.

“AJ Long Electric: Your appointment is confirmed for Tue 5/12 between 10am–12pm. Reply STOP to cancel SMS, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”

“AJ Long Electric: Your technician [Name] is 30 minutes away. See you soon. Reply STOP to opt out.”
