A listed ChargePoint home unit still needs a dedicated 240-volt circuit and a panel that can carry it. The circuit and hookup is $1,200–$3,500 typical; only a documented long, detached, outdoor, trenched, or otherwise complex route extends to the $1,200–$4,500 total band. EVSE hardware is separate.
What the electrical scope includes
